Refund Policy

Written to match what the software actually does. Where this policy describes an automatic behaviour, that behaviour is enforced in code, not by asking us.

Failed runs are refunded automatically

Credits are taken before an action runs. If it then fails (a provider outage, a timeout, a crash, or a build that produces no slides) the credits are returned to your balance automatically. You do not need to contact us, and the refund is applied once even if the failure is detected more than once.

You are not automatically refunded when the action succeeds but you dislike the result. Generated content is subjective; iterating is what the edit actions are for. If a deck came out unusable because of a genuine defect, tell us and we will credit it back.

Subscriptions

• First subscription payment: full refund within 14 days if the product is not right for you. Email us and we will process it.
• Renewals: not refunded by default, since the allowance is available immediately. Cancel before a renewal date to avoid the next charge.
• Cancelling keeps your access until the end of the period you have already paid for. We do not pro-rate part-months.

Credit packs

Unused purchased credits are refundable within 14 days of purchase. Once credits have been spent on completed work they are not refundable, because the work was performed and the provider cost was incurred. Purchased credits never expire.

Monthly allowance

The credit allowance included with a plan resets each billing period and does not roll over. Unused allowance has no cash value and is not refundable. Only purchased top-up credits carry over.

How to request a refund

Email support@bankerdeck.com from the address on the account, with the date and roughly what happened. We reply within 3 business days. Approved refunds go back to the original payment method through Stripe and typically appear within 5-10 business days.

Chargebacks

Please contact us before raising a chargeback. Nearly everything is faster to fix directly, and automatic failure refunds may already have covered it.
